MINNEAPOLIS — Brain surgery is so intimidating that it’s become an idiom that we use to judge how difficult everything else in life tends to be.
So when the University of Minnesota recently posted about an aspiring brain surgeon who also overcame homelessness on his road to medical school, we wanted to learn more about his difficult past and how it prepared him for his difficult career path ahead.
