Pair of weekend storms knocks out power to thousands, triggers street flooding and tree damage

A pair of weekend storms slammed into the Minneapolis-St. Paul Metro, triggering street flooding, power outages and damage to hundreds of trees.

Xcel Energy says the storms knocked out power to 20,000 customers, with winds at MSP reaching speeds of 62 miles per hour.
