Rash of vehicle break-ins triggers warning from Golden Valley police

GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. — Phones were ringing at metro insurance offices after a rash of early morning vehicle break-ins in Golden Valley early Tuesday.

Golden Valley police posted on the department’s Facebook page that approximately 15 vehicles were targeted in apartment complex surface lots in the vicinity of Laurel Avenue and Turners Crossroad.
