Minneapolis Police Defuse Potential Threat, Arrest Man for Alleged Gun and Narcotics Offenses

Minneapolis has averted potential danger thanks to the quick response of its police department after reports came in of a man allegedly pointing a gun at vehicles. The Minneapolis Police Department shared a post on social media detailing the incident. According to their post, officers from the 3rd Precinct were dispatched to the 2900 block of Park Avenue South following reports of an individual threatening public safety.

The situation unfolded as officers conducted a thorough search, ultimately locating the suspect in a somewhat unexpected hideout beneath a porch. The discovery didn’t end there, however, as they also found the gun hidden in the same area. Additionally, the officers unearthed narcotics and determined that the individual did not possess a permit to carry the firearm, the Minneapolis Police Department detailed on Facebook.
