Minneapolis homeowner seeks $21K to preserve rare ‘Gold Medal Flour’ ad

Digging into Minneapolis history, Johnson learned his home was originally constructed in 1912 as a neighborhood grocery store that operated until a fire broke out in 1915.

At that time, a buyer purchased the property, built a new foundation on the adjacent lot and moved the building to where Johnson lives today.
