Multiple $50K lotto winners in MN after Monday’s Powerball drawing

MINNEAPOLIS — Six people who bought Powerball tickets in the greater Twin Cities were just given 50,000 reasons to push their lucky lotto streak.

Although no one won the more than $1 billion jackpot Monday, a handful of folks around the state still got a piece of the Powerball pie, winning $50,000 each.

The six tickets were sold at the following locations:

  • Anoka at Holiday Stationstore located at 460 W. Main Street
  • Blaine at Speedway located at 2310 Cloud Drive NE
  • Coon Rapids at Joe’s Kwik Marts located at 3516 Main Street NW
  • Elk River at Holiday Stationstore located at 18823 Freeport Avenue
  • West St. Paul at Holiday Stationstore located at 1845 Robert Street
  • Woodbury at Seasons Market Holiday located at 757 Radio Drive

The Minnesota Lottery says winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prize, which can be done at the lottery’s Roseville headquarters, by mail or at any other regional office…
