A Minneapolis woman is facing felony charges after investigators say she took part in a violent attempted robbery last spring that left a man with life-altering injuries.
According to a criminal complaint, 26-year-old Asha Jibril Mohamud has been charged with first-degree assault causing great bodily harm and first-degree aggravated robbery in connection with the April 18, 2024 shooting inside an apartment on Golden Valley Road.
Police say officers responded to a report of gunfire at the apartment complex, where they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg.
