The State of Minnesota has issued its first Cannabis Event Organizer License, which allows attendees to purchase recreational cannabis on-site during events.
The license was given to organizers of the Legacy Cup, which will be held on Saturday, Sept. 27 at Surly Brewing Festival Field in Minneapolis.
In an announcement on Thursday, organizers say that Legacy Cannabis Duluth and Waabigwan Mashkiki were both approved to operate cannabis dispensaries on-site during the event. The license additionally allows for the consumption of cannabis flower and concentrate in designated consumption areas.
