Worker Struck and Killed in Minnesota Highway Construction Zone

Burnsville, MN (KROC-AM News) – The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating a deadly mishap that occurred this morning in a highway construction zone.

A preliminary report indicates the incident happened just before 9 a.m. on southbound I-35W in Burnsville. The State Patrol says a construction boom truck was being driven in reverse in the construction zone when it struck and fatally injured a construction worker.
