2 Charged After Fridley Shooting Leaves Man Wounded

Two people are facing felony charges after a shooting in Fridley last week left a man hospitalized with multiple gunshot wounds.

According to charges filed Monday in Anoka County, 22-year-old Luvell Kaagan Bowman, of Andover, is accused of firing shots during a dispute on Oct. 3 that struck a man in the leg and hand.

Bowman is charged with first-degree assault causing great bodily harm, second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon causing substantial bodily harm, and drive-by shooting toward a person. Each count carries a firearm enhancement that could add mandatory prison time if he is convicted…
