White Bear Lake police continue to investigate 22-year-old man who allegedly attended high school; district not doing interviews

It’s been a week since word spread around the White Bear Lake High School campus that an adult male had been attending for 19 days as a student after enrolling “using fraudulent documentation and a false identity,” according to the superintendent.

“It won’t be a quick investigation, White Bear Lake Police Chief Dale Hager shared with 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS on Tuesday, adding, “A lot of moving parts in this case.”

For the first time, 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS heard from a White Bear Lake school board member, Vice-Chair Angela Thompson, who shared a previously released district statement from Oct. 2, adding, “I will not be commenting to the press on an active investigation.”…
