Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara confirmed that a 21-year-old man was killed and three others were injured during a shooting inside a bar on the 400 block of 4th Street South on October 7, 2025.
Officers from the First Precinct responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 11:40 p.m. Upon arrival, they encountered a large, unruly crowd engaged in physical altercations. Additional units from the Second, Third, and Fifth Precincts, along with deputies from the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office, were called to assist.
Inside the bar, officers located the 21-year-old man with multiple gunshot wounds. Despite immediate medical aid provided at the scene, the man was pronounced dead.
