A 22-year-old man under investigation for fraudulently enrolling at White Bear Lake High School was reportedly assaulted in the days after the allegations emerged.
The man was the victim of an assault by multiple people on the 1900 block of Maryland Avenue sometime between October 3 and 4, with St. Paul PD now investigating whether it relates to the White Bear Lake allegations.
The man sustained minor injuries in the assault, and no arrests have been made.
