Man sentenced to over 10 years for 2023 Minneapolis homicide

A 36-year-old man was sentenced to over 10 years (128 months) in prison in connection with a 2023 homicide in Minneapolis on Tuesday.

Devon Louis Williams pleaded guilty to one count of second-degree murder last month. An additional count of second-degree murder was dismissed at sentencing. Williams was given credit for 319 days already served.
