Rear-end crash at NE Minneapolis railroad crossing pushes 2 SUVs into train

Police are investigating whether a driver was intoxicated when he allegedly rammed into an SUV stopped at a railroad crossing, pushing both vehicles into a passing freight train early Wednesday morning in Minneapolis.

The crash happened just after 2:30 a.m. on Central Avenue Northeast near Columbia Parkway.
