A Minneapolis man, Michael Benjamin Chew, 33, is accused of stealing thousands of dollars in merchandise during three incidents last year at the Home Depot in Eden Prairie, according to Hennepin County criminal complaints.
A judge issued warrants in all three cases on Oct. 2, setting bail at $5,000 in each.
Prosecutors allege Chew took about $1,474 in merchandise on July 27, 2024, then fled on foot when confronted; officers later detained him. He also faces a misdemeanor count of fleeing a peace officer in that case.
