MINNEAPOLIS — On Nov. 1, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits are expected to end for millions across the country as funding runs dry during the ongoing federal government shutdown. In response, several Twin Cities restaurants and businesses are stepping up to offer free or discounted food to those in need.
