Minneapolis pizza joint suddenly closes its Uptown location

After 14 years in business, Mesa Pizza, known for its Macaroni and Cheese pizza, has abruptly closed its restaurant in Minneapolis’ Uptown neighborhood.

Its final night of service was Halloween, a one-night boon for costumed revelers, with the impending closure announced at around lunchtime Friday.
