The first time locally based serial Sola Salons owner Erin Elgin saw a listing for the colossal space across from Fulton’s production space in Northeast Minneapolis, she brushed it off. She’d been looking for a place to open a new Sola Salons, a franchise that gives beauty and wellness professionals the tools and studio space to go entrepreneurial. Most Solas are around 6,000 square feet. This was 30,000. Way too big.
During a chance drive-by a week later, something shifted. The place looked happy. Elgin called her real estate agent and made an appointment.
It was love at first sight.
