Parents and educators hopeful a strike won’t happen, parents prep just in case

MINNEAPOLIS — Minneapolis Public School parents are preparing for a possible strike.

Mia Pettinger has two kids in the district. She works a full-time job along with her husband.

“None of us want to strike; however, I feel like the teachers are out here really fighting for our kids too, they’re fighting for smaller class sizes, they’re fighting for things that are really important to me as well as a parent,” Pettinger said…
