The Minneapolis Police Department took to social media to recount the arrest of a suspect following a jewelry heist at an apartment block on the 1700 block of 2nd Avenue South.
The episode unfolded when a woman reported a robbery, catching the thief red-handed, police swiftly responded to the distress call; upon their arrival, the officers didn’t have to look far for the suspect who, as fortune would have it, was walking out of her own apartment in the same building where the burglary took place—talk about easy pickings for law enforcement.
