Iowa woman gets 40-year sentence for ‘cruel’ murder of Minneapolis DJ Liara Tsai

A 33-year-old woman from Iowa was sentenced to the maximum prison sentence of 40 years for the murder of Liara Tsai, a Minneapolis DJ.

Margot Lewis was convicted by a Hennepin County jury on two counts of second-degree murder in late September. One count was with intent to cause Tsai’s death and the other without intent, using a dangerous weapon.
