Neighbors say ICE raids are impacting northeast Minneapolis businesses

MINNEAPOLIS — As ICE operations continue across the Twin Cities, some in northeast Minneapolis say immigrant-owned businesses are feeling the effects of fewer customers and worried staff members, including those with proper documentation.

“Legal citizens are afraid to come to work because the ICE raids have been indiscriminate,” said Recovery Bike Shop owner Seth Stattmiller. “These businesses are very concerned about their people, their staff, their friends.”
