The final holiday shopping season is underway at The Woods in Maple Grove.
The owners, Dave and Linda Looney, have announced the store will close next month as they retire after 40 years running specialty gift shops in the Twin Cities.
“We know this news may make some of you sad; we feel that too,” they wrote. “Your laughter, conversations and support have been the heart of The Woods, and we are deeply grateful for the memories we’ve shared.”
