Woman says she was detained by ICE in Minneapolis for being a ‘citizen observer’

A woman has told 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS she was thrown to the ground and detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement when she refused to leave the sidewalk she was watching them from.

Susan Tincher said on Tuesday morning she was outside at North 21st and Oliver avenues in Minneapolis, where it appeared an ICE operation was underway.

While trying to learn what had happened, Tincher said she asked the people she thought were ICE agents why they were in the neighborhood and whether they were ICE…
