A 57-year-old man is accused of killing the mother of his child before turning the gun on himself.
Joseph Raymond Wiggins faces one count of second-degree murder. He is currently in the hospital in critical condition due to a gunshot wound to his head. A criminal complaint states that he is expected to survive and did not suffer any neurological injuries from the gunshot, but that he will be in the hospital for “a considerable length of time.”
