HOPKINS, Minn. — Frigid temperatures are making winter uncomfortable across the Twin Cities, but for homeowners, the cold brings another concern: ice dams.
Crews have been busy climbing onto roofs to remove built-up snow and ice that can lead to costly damage. Steve Kuhl, owner of The Ice Dam Company based in Hopkins, said demand has been high in recent weeks.
