BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — The Twin Cities Toys for Tots warehouse on December 19th resembled Santa’s Workshop on Christmas Eve.
Hundreds of Marines and volunteers spent the day sorting through tens of thousands of toys that poured in during the final day of the Twin Cities toy drive.
“We’re looking for some gifts for the 8-10-year-old population,” said Peter Morrow, who volunteered alongside several co-workers from Cargill. “I don’t think I realized the magnitude, the size of it, actually, or what it takes to get it from a collection site at work to actually getting them out to people.”…
