Hennepin County Attorney introduces new policy to reduce false confessions by children

Hennepin County prosecutors are aiming reduce false confessions by limiting the use of statements made during youth interrogations.

The Hennepin County Attorney’s Office announced a new policy on statements made by children in custodial interrogations this week.
