Bloomington police have arrested an individual who allegedly punched a woman in the back of the head as part of a TikTok challenge.
“Don’t come to Bloomington and do your idiotic ‘Tik Tok’ challenges, especially ones that are trying to hurt others, because we will lock you up. Sorry, not sorry,” the city’s police department Facebook page said alongside a video of Chief Booker Hodges addressing the incident.
“On Dec. 16, an individual with two warrants, at one of our local businesses here, decided that they wanted to do a TikTok challenge. And the TikTok challenge was to punch somebody in the back of the head,” Hodges said. “This person, proceeded, at one of our local establishments here, to punch a woman in the back of the head to where she falls on the ground.”
