ICE detains Eden Prairie man; Chanhassen standoff follows

Immigration enforcement activity in Eden Prairie drew renewed scrutiny last week after federal agents detained a father outside an apartment complex while his 13-year-old son looked on, according to family members.

The Dec. 11 incident, along with a separate standoff involving U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) at a construction site in nearby Chanhassen on Dec. 13, prompted community members to gather at both locations to observe and document activity by ICE in the southwest metro.
