A festive tradition like none other, the annual “holiday line” for a south Minneapolis Scandinavian deli counter attracted a throng of customers on Monday morning.
A line around a block long could be seen snaking from the entrance of Ingebretsen’s Nordic Market at 1601 East Lake Street, with shoppers taking numbers to place their orders for the variety of Scandinavian delicacies ahead of Christmas festivities.
Fortunately for those waiting, temperatures were around about freezing on Monday morning, a far cry from some of the frigid days shoppers will have endured in the past…
