A distribution company is recalling a multitude of products over the presence of contamination from avian and rodent contamination.
Gold Star Distribution, Inc., based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, announced it has recalled products from food to medicine that could have been contaminated by pests like rodents, birds and insects. After an investigation from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the facility that was holding the items was found to be operating in unsanitary conditions.
In the facility, the FDA found “the presence of rodent excreta, rodent urine, and bird droppings in areas where medical devices, drugs, human food, pet food, and cosmetic products were held,” the release said…
