North Loop Cannabis Shop Officially Becomes Dispensary
As regional manager for Wildflower, the growing group of Twin Cities cannabis shops, Erin Kaine was used to the questions and downcast looks from customers as the company waited for Minnesota to grant them a license to sell recreational flower.
“I felt like we were disappointing people for a long time, and everyone’s coming in asking for flower and vapes and all that, and especially the people from out of town, not quite understanding where the laws are,” she said. “So it’s so great to just be able to tell people, yes, we do have it.”
Wildflower received a license in late October, worked out an agreement with a grower, the Mille Lacs band of Ojibwe, and started selling flower last weekend.
“So currently we have two different kinds of pre-rolls, two different half ounces, and then everything else comes in a 4-gram eighth,” she said.
