The new year is bringing changes to Graze Food Hall in Minneapolis.
Tixtli, a year-old concept from Gustavo and Kate Romero of acclaimed Oro by Nixta, has closed its counter in the North Loop food hall. It was one of the first new tenants to open at Graze after Travail Collective took over operations in late 2024.
“As the [sun sets] on 2025, team tortilla has made the decision to close @tixtlibynixta and to start the new year focused on our flagship ways to evangelize heirloom corn: Oro and wholesale tortillas,” reads a New Year’s Day social media post from the company.
However, they aren’t closing the door on Tixtli entirely…
