Minnesota mom charged with stealing $110,000 from her daughter’s softball association

PLYMOUTH, Minn. — She was trusted to handle the finances of the Plymouth Wayzata Youth Softball Association (PWYSA), but now Kristin Williams is charged with doing the exact opposite.

Hennepin County court documents reveal that from August 2020 to February 2025, Williams allegedly stole $110,000 from the association while serving as its treasurer.

The now 52-year-old took on the role in June of 2020 and was responsible for all accounting, bookkeeping and web-based transactions. She was also the only one with access to the association’s online bank account…
