The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) is looking for a new restaurant take over the Water Works Pavilion along the Mississippi River in the Mill District.
The request for proposals (RFP) comes not long after the current occupant, the heralded, Sean Sherman-led Owamni, announced that it will leave the building and reopen inside the Guthrie Theater at some point this spring.
The 7,800-square-foot, two-story building opened at 435 West River Parkway in 2021 and features preserved mill remnants, as well as an outdoor patio overlooking the river.
