Weather officials are warning of potentially treacherous road conditions in the Twin Cities as a variety of wintry weather arrives on Sunday.
The National Weather Service says that a combination of snow, sleet and freezing rain could “lead to icy travel conditions” late Sunday morning into early afternoon.
The Twin Cities and the counties to the north could see ice accumulations in excess of 0.01 inches between 12 p.m. and 6 p.m.
