The Bus Rapid Transit A Line, connecting Minneapolis to Roseville, will have a dozen new hybrid-electric buses next year. Those buses are among the 100 new hybrid-electric buses arriving across the system in 2027.
Metro Transit currently has just over 700 buses. The agency is working to replace aging buses as it catches up with ridership rebounding post-pandemic. More than 250 buses are entering service in 2025 and 2026, according to Metro Transit.
