NORTH ST PAUL, Minn. — A Coon Rapids teen was shot and killed over the weekend in North St. Paul, according to a statement from the city’s police department.
The department said officers were called to the 2000 block of 9th Avenue on Saturday morning following reports of an assault. The statement said law enforcement arrived to find a 19-year-old with an apparent gunshot wound. Despite life-saving efforts, the victim died at the scene.
