A video clip shows a man in Minnesota standing outside his home in St. Paul with a rifle, pledging to “protect” his neighborhood as Immigration and Customs Enforcement makes its way through the city.
The man in the video declined to give his name but criticized ICE in his statement. He was asked if he lives in the area. “Yep, this is my block, this is my area. I don’t go into other people’s neighborhoods and try to intimidate them. I try to protect my people,” said the figure in the video.
He added that “30 or 40-50” people turned out in front of the home, likely for a protest or anti-ICE action. The video is captioned, “This is what happens when federal agents turn neighborhoods into war zones. Families are terrified.
