List of major ICE updates in Minnesota on Wednesday, Jan. 21

Homeland Security officials report that more than 3,000 arrests have been made in Minnesota since the operation began in December, with an estimated 3,000 federal immigration officers and investigators deployed to the state to conduct the Trump administration’s mission.

6:30 p.m. — 4 Columbia Heights students detained by ICE, including 5- and 10-year-olds

Four children who attend Columbia Heights Public Schools have been arrested by ICE agents, including a 5-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl, both of whom have been shipped to Texas detention centers. Two 17-year-olds have also been detained in recent days. Read the full story here.
