The New Brighton Department of Public Safety announced that remains found near Lake Jones in March of 2025 have been identified as a missing person.
After finding a skull on March 1, the New Brighton Department of Public Safety conducted a three-day search of the wetland area to look for more evidence. Dental records identified the skull as belonging to Haley Elizabeth Aymar in early 2026, authorities said.
Aymar was reported missing in 2015. She had been last seen by a friend on Dec. 3 of that year, also the day of her last social media post, in downtown Minneapolis…
