Alex Pretti’s neighbor speaks out revealing he was part of neighborhood ICE alert group chat

A neighbor of Alex Pretti, the 37 year old U.S. citizen who was fatally shot by a federal agent on Saturday morning, identified him as a member of their local “Signal ICE” group chat.

Jeanne Massey, a community outreach participant and local resident in Minneapolis, revealed that ICU nurse Alex Pretti lived just one block away from her home. Pretti was part of a local ICE watch group, a network of local volunteers who promptly respond to sightings of ICE agents in the vicinity.

The ICE Watch group comprises dozens of volunteers, including both Massey and Pretti. Massey’s primary responsibility involves mobilizing rapid response, which entails patrolling the neighborhood, alerting locals, and witnessing the “horror” when they learn ICE is nearby…
