The Rev. Eric Severson of Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Midland felt an obligation to join other clergy members from across the country in traveling to Minneapolis for three days last week.
Severson was in the city from Wednesday to Saturday, participating in the march on Friday that drew an estimated 50,000 people in below-zero temperatures to protest the presence of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in Minneapolis and the Jan. 7 fatal shooting of Renee Good by an ICE agent.
