FBI says 2 arrests made in connection to stolen FBI documents

MINNEAPOLIS — Federal authorities say they’ve made two arrests over the past two days in connection with an incident where people allegedly stole information from government vehicles on Jan. 14 in north Minneapolis, the FBI says.

Officials say the information was stolen when agents clashed with protesters after a federal officer shot a man in the leg during an immigration operation. At one point, officials say a government vehicle was broken into, and sensitive documents were taken.

On social media, images of documents allegedly stolen from the vehicle were shared. In one video with a Status Coup watermark, a woman said the documents included “full names of FBI agents, phone numbers, emails,” as well as “maps on where they’re staying and where they are holding immigrants.”…
