Trampled By Turtles Quickly Sells Out Benefit Show Helping Immigrants

The Duluth-based band is holding a benefit concert this Saturday, January 31, to raise money for organizations that aid immigrants in Minnesota. They will be joined by the band bathtub cig in the mutual aid benefit show at the Turf Club.

Sold Out Show At The Turf Club

The Tuf Club is a 350-person venue located between Downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul. Trampled by Turtles is a popular band across the region and usually sells out larger venues, like Bayfront Festival Park in Duluth. This benefit concert sold out quickly within less than a couple of hours. There was a two-ticket limit for purchasing.

Doors will open at Noon on Saturday, with the Bathtub Cig taking the stage at 1:00. Trampled By Turtles will be on at 1:30 PM.

Proceeds Go To Immigrant Rapid Response Fund

All the money raised will go to the Immigrant Rapid Response Fund. Leaders from the coalition help those affected by immigration-related harm. TBT calls them a trusted organization that responds to immigration-related emergencies across Minnesota.

They are also encouraging people to bring donations of diapers, baby wipes, and formula that will be distributed to families in urgent need.

Immigrants Are Afraid To Leave Their Homes For Care

Trampled By Turtles acknowledges that many people who need medical care are too afraid to leave their homes, including mothers and their newborns. Even though the show is sold out, TBT is encouraging those who wish to help out to donate to the Immigrant Rapid Response Fund online…
