Station Pizzeria, the family-run Minnetonka favorite, is cruising south to Brentwood for its second location and is eyeing an early April opening. The new spot is planned as a full-service sit-down restaurant with takeout and carryout geared toward nearby shoppers and commuters along the busy corridor.
Owner Jake Schaffer told What Now Nashville that the Brentwood project is “our first opportunity to design the restaurant how we want it to fit our business flow,” adding that the team is aiming for the beginning of April. The original Minnetonka restaurant, tucked into a converted 1934 gas station, is the model the owners plan to replicate in Brentwood, right down to the neighborhood hangout feel.
The site at 7007 Moores Lane is currently under construction and already sports a Station Pizzeria sign, Williamson Source reports. Local coverage notes the project is a ground-up build along the Moores Lane corridor, with the possibility of a drive-thru adding a little extra convenience to the pizza run.
Menu And Minnetonka Roots
The Brentwood outpost will lean on Station’s made-from-scratch tavern-style pizzas, smoked wings, salads, and pastas, along with beer and wine. Specialty pies like the Tonka, topped with house-smoked chicken, jalapeño, red onion, blue cheese crumble, and buffalo sauce, and the El Camino, loaded with taco meat, black beans, lettuce, pico de gallo, cre,ma and tortilla strips, are already featured on the Station Pizzeria menu. The team’s website also lists the Brentwood address at 7007 Moores Lane on Station Pizzeria, a sign that they are getting close to showtime…
