A Lakeville man is sitting in the Dakota County Jail after investigators say they uncovered videos of children being used in sexual performances, setting off a fast-moving case that is now in the hands of both state agents and local police.
Court filings identify the suspect as 30-year-old Nicholas Roger Goldberg of Lakeville. Prosecutors have charged him with three felony counts of “Use of a Minor in a Sexual Performance,” tied to alleged incidents in mid-December 2025 and late January 2026. The case is now working its way through Dakota County District Court while forensic analysts keep digging through seized electronics.
