One person was taken to a hospital after a shooting overnight in Burnsville that led officials to issue a shelter-in-place order for the community.
According to city officials, Burnsville police were called to a report of a shooting near the Glen at Burnsville Apartments, located along Harriet Avenue South just south of West Burnsville Parkway, at around 10:30 p.m. Monday.
